Cast iron pillow block bearing units consist of two basic components, the insert and the housing. Each bearing unit consists of a sealed ball bearings mounted inside a pillow block or flanged housing. This makes the very cost effective whilst remaining versatile due to the multiple varieties available and the ability for the insert bearing to adjust for any slight shaft misalignment.
