6220-2Z/VA228 SKF High Temperature Ball Bearing
SKF high temperature ball bearings are designed to deliver increased reliability, reduced complexity and decreased environmental impact in operating temperatures up to 350°C, making these products suitable for applications in kiln trucks, bakeries and roller hearth furnaces. SKF high temperature bearings correspond to the ISO dimensions of grease-lubricated bearings. Manufacturing production efficiencies and cost savings can be realized with these bearing solutions. SKF high temperature bearings include a large radial internal clearance which is four times the C5 clearance which prevents them from seizing even when they are rapidly cooled. The surfaces of the bearings are manganese phosphated which provides protection against corrosion.
- 2Z - Shield on both sides
- VA228 - Bearing for high temperature applications, with a coronet cage made of graphite, manganese phosphate coated rings and rolling elements, and radial clearance of multiples of C5
- Maximum operating temperature: 350°C
